Its original chip design, inspired by the Panasonic MN3207 (for you chip nerds), delivers buckets of bucket brigade delay modulation tones to run the gamut from your shimmery '80s blue box choruses to your warbling Leslie warps to your seasick, cloudy, indie vibratos. The WaterFall Bass retains the authenticity of the original WaterFall, but with special interest turned towards making its sounds live their best lives in a bass guitar context.

Onboard, the WaterFall Bass features a blissfully simple two-dial control scheme that mirrors its guitar-based sibling. Depth and Speed controls shape the modulation tones simply while two two-way intensity switches ramp the overall effect up into different modulating gears. The rightmost toggle quickly swaps the intensity of the WaterFall Bass up into distinct vibrato territories with a greater emphasis on pitch modulation. The leftmost toggle pushes the WaterFall Bass further into cloudier, hazier modulation hemispheres for an overall sonic palette made to blur some lines and get lost a little bit along the way.
